If we dyno I guess we will also need to come up with a water tank to supply the engine with enough cooling water to do a pull or two on. I know a garden hose 5/8" or 3/4" will not flow enough water to cool all the engine components for a pull. I know I want my engine full of water, not steam pockets and dont want my headers to leak anymore than they are now from age and heat.

Just a thought.

One other thought would be the guys running in class 6 that are now so excited about this "outlaw" type race at an event......MOvE up to at least class 5 Where you belong a little more and not change any of the actual current rules. "Running at 80 -85 where you feel comfortable", try 75 for a change. This won't hurt boat count at events, just shuffling a couple from 6 into 5 making more competition there and would open up room in 6 for guys that want to compete but don't want to spend their time and money to get spanked by a boat/motor combo that doesn't belong in that class. ( this would be me, I'm coming, but not just to go boating with other people with helmets on, I would like to have a chance at good competition and a win )

Trust me. Class 5 is good competition. What you need to remember is theres a 4 foot difference between the largest Class 6 and 5 boats, even on a calm course, the C5 boats can stay in it where the C6 boats cant.

Bilgerat since you shot this at me here we go.
First im not the one that brought this up obout a outlaw race smitty did but im for it.
Next i cant help the fact that with 600 hp my boat runs so good do you want me to put a 365 mag in to slow it down?
If you read the first thread of this post you will see no rules are going to change for gps racing.
And i would move to 5 if the rest of the 5 boats were 26 feet but size does matter. all the boats in class 6 are within 2 feet of each other .
Most of the class is close on power in class 6

got to go and have some surgery done in a hour ill be back later i have some more for ya.
