Class 5 2013 sound off

I'm fine either way on motors you won't hear me making a big stink about it, especially for 4. But take a boat like the condo. That boat needs big power to run competitively in 4. What's wrong with some low boost whipples in it? It'd take a crap load of power to make it run in a 90 mph class you know that Brian.
BTW, Bubba!?! Da hell!

Don't be offended, I have a habit of calling everyone bubba. I think you are under estimating how well the bus is gonna go with staggered 700's .I run 509/600's in mine and have no intention of running any more than that.

i was told in class 5 & 6 it was an un-written rule(maybe it is written now) that you had to run a "bravo style" out-drive...2 years ago Doug contacted the "authorities" about installing a NXT on the DCB...we were shut down, or pushed to class 4...
not picking on the PFE guys, just curious if this is going to stick or is it a free-for-all?? speedmaster's are a clear advantage in my opinion, yeah they rob some horsepower but your never gonna break one, not to mention the 12" skeg and nose-cone/bullet thats 2ft long...lol...if were gonna allow them...fine...but make it known so we can cut a bigger hole while we still have time
i was thinking that the bravo rule was put in place to keep the hp down, lets face it, a 30ft lightened up race boat should not need a #5 "speedy" to go 75...lol...whats everyone else think??

I think a 39 foot limit is fair, especially considering you guys did well in 3 this year. I understand your predicament if 3 were too vanish, but if there;s good racing in 3 in 2013 I don't see why you'd come to 4.

Ok soo what everyone seems to be saying is that I am practically the same boat as 531. You all know it I'm not going into detail but I run blowers so i am immediately moved to class 4 which I knew that last year but just couldn't get the boat together. This year I will run 4 and your telling me I pretty much don't have a shot running against a bigger boat over 40ft. What happened to the sportsman type racing I was told would be going on. I'm a bit confused my tiny blower boat has no chance of winning unless everyone breaks or breaks out.
