Class 5 2013 sound off
 

I am thinking about class 5 this year but it seems the class maybe thin on teams this year who plans on coming back or jumping into class 5

Mighty Macs 568 will be there.

Pete & I discussed it too. Going to run 5 & 6.

AWESOME!!! I dont know if we can swing the fee for both classes so we decided to pick 5. If $ comes in before the season we may try and run class 6 as well. 5 should definetely be fun this season! We figured Tyler proved our hull can handle it and we proved our hull can handle it so why not! It runs better faster anyhow.:boat:

I've watched that boat run in the ocean. I can't see the smaller boat running with it. Just my opinion..

Why don't you ask Eddie John or Mark about some of the battles we've had in the ocean. Always neck and neck. I think your under estimating the rest of C5 too. Mitigator, who your daddy, Highs Fuel, pump it, maximum, pushin tin...all fantastic ocean boats.

I went to my first race in Ocean city two years ago,went again this year.The boat seemed to really Dominate when the ocean was rough. But i know very little about boat racing!! Just going by what i watched,especially this years race. That's all everyone have a safe race season..

how bout specialized?

Mike, are you bringing the O'l girl back out this season or you taking different avenue?

Will it matter that a new owner is running the boat.. Is he a boat racer?

We are goning to start tearing the transom apart next week, Have a good glass guy lined up and as long as we can find some cash we be ready by may,

Not sure how the boat will handle being 600 lbs lighter without all the water logged wood and fiberglass in her maybe we can find a way to run with the big guys ,

SBracing-how can you run both? New boat?

Gonna put 511 and 611 on boat and be a fast class 6 and a slow class 5 at same time. Bound to make at least 1 podium.

We're in. We're happy to report High's and Carroll Fuel have stepped up again to support us for 2013.

We did a fairly long interview on Baltimore's 98 Rock radio morning show yesterday with hosts Mickey and Amelia. Mickey and Amelia are going to run in the boat with us for a test session in the bay

Same small motor as last year. Might drop a cam in it tho.

Now this is some funny sh!t right here!!! When you broke out in Michigan and went by us at 70+ it sure looked like you could hang with class 5. Hell we thought you changed classes on us!!! :boat:

I'd be willing to bet if you show up to a calm race like the lake in nj smitty would not turn you away.
