Great to see this class come together. Great job by all involved in getting it there. Should be a great class to watch and I see ti growing bigger and bigger throughout the year,
|
I am in with a 22 Velocity with a 300 HP Maytag !!!! :D
|
Outstanding work !!!! When any of you guys see boats for sale when you are searching the web can you please post them on here? I believe it will help new teams see whats avaliable and what the pricing is on these boats. Most may be shocked at how affordable these boats are compared to a full blown 27' race boat.

Any thought to a age limit? Father daughter? Responasability of the parent? Typhoon 2? I cant let Tug It and Wassup have the only dual teams. :lolhit:

Yeah, I've got the boys wearin me down on the age question too! Is 16 the minimum? And I'm assuming the same rules apply the 1st 2 races with a driver of record?
|
Johnny, 16 was for just you. Its 10 years old for normal kids without learning disabilities. :lolhit:

Wow great to see a class 7. Ive been away from OSO way to long.
Ill cut loose my boat if someone is looking to buy. I need to fill the need for a big boat. She is clean. Power is a 1993 Merc 200 XRI fuel injected and oil injected. Boat is a 1993, been told its the last one out of the starflite mold from checkmate before they switched to a mold with more freeborad. Has a notched transom, nice pad area too. She is solid. Lower unit is all new internally. |
Whats the length and asking price?

Class 7
I'm in!!!
I raced this class when it was F class under 3 different boats. I am building my challenger now, transom redo etc, thanks to mark henderson for pushing me to get back in it to run with my 16 year old son So, I'll see you boys on the course always wanted to race with my dad but never happen so I am going to give my son the greatest opportunity a young boy can ask for . And I love running them hard offshore . Can't wait!! Mike |

Mike, it is great to know that you are planning to race in Class 7.I remember you always running up front in those 21ft Superboats "Ocean Outboard" and "Fast Times" in the US OFFSHORE Factory Class.A few other former F-Class racers are also planning to race in Class 7 too.Its going to be neat to see this class develop in the coming years. We are looking for at least 3 to 5 boats to be ready by Lake Hopatcong..with more joining the fleet throughout the season!
