Default SVL rules with APBA

I'm sitting in Orlando bored so I decided to look into the apba thing which looks pretty cool. But I did notice some rules and different things that are similar and different then the opa rules. Is there going to be a marriage of the rules or will it just be opa rules period?
I don't want any bashing or opinions just some facts as to what is to be.

Good point. Now is the time to set them straight before the season starts. Shouldn't be to hard being that OPA and OSS are the same boats and SBI is doing there own thing. I think its just great to getting back to a unified set of rules nation wide.

#1 As stated in the meeting this past Saturday, OPA races will be ran under the OPA Rules.

#2 To the best of my knowledge, OPA & OSS rules ARE different.

#3 READ THE RULE BOOKS!

WE have submitted our rule book to APBA. They will adapt to our rules.

It's ultimately Smitty's call, but I can tell you that a lot of the Class (Us, Perdition, Velocity, Slippery) has NO issue with your boat running (either one)...IF it had Bravos. With #6's we all see them as Class 3 boats.

There is no drive restriction. The classes are based on speed. OPA will place a boat where it feels it would be competitive. Shoot me an email with your phone number, we'll chat. Smitty [email protected]

There ya have it. Smitty will make the right call,

Just curious, when did your 41 Velocity become a 39? It was a 41 when it was listed for sale.
