At the drivers meeting George Eisenhart (sp) announced his early (LOL) retirement. After a 20 year racing career in offshore he will now enjoy being a part of the sport but just not in the boat. George you have been an inspiration to many people and have proven you are never to old to race. I solute you for your accomplishments and positive attitude you have always displayed. You are a class act and an ambassador to our sport. Congrats on a great carrier in the boat. Please if others have pics of George over the years post them.

The thoughts expressed in this thread are heart felt and greatly appreciated.in 20 years so many friendships so much thoughtful discussion about racing and the Miriad of combinations that might win the next race.Pros and cons of the rules and there enforcement. What a great ride it's been. When I owned the Grumpy Old Men Magnum we won three consecutive Great Lakes Silver cup championships, and twice finished second at the APBA Worlds Key West.but it was clear the 6000 lb magnum wasn't going to be co petite in bracket style racing where quick acceleration was to be the new game. My grumpy old men wanted to steps back from the offshore wars but I really had the bug bad. Tyler Crockett was the reason we started wining in the magnum. He and I thought the very light Veloicity with its Kevlar Const. Would be the ticket. Well it's went fast quick and easy, but but it couldn't take that kind of power or punishment.Like a potato chip light but very wear. Once we blew the bottom out of the Veloicity ,I really thought it was over for me as the Veloicity was a total financial loss to me. Tyler was talking toBrian who was getting the Joker brand going, and he assured us he could build us a 4200 lb. boat that we couldn't break. As so it began a7year oddesy that netted a nat championship, a World Championship and lots of checkered flags along the way.Oh yes we were the top gun three years running at Lake of The Ozarks. Mark Pedersen joined the Team and provided much needed financial support and most Importantaly a life long friendship not to mention a. Beautiful motorhome and Tow Trucks to die. For. We broke lots of parts, broke out out out bracket (plenty) made wrong turns, And Loved Every Minute of it. Thanks for the Hardcore Racing and The Memories. George Eisenhart. Now a Jersey Boy. It don't get any better.

George,
Congratulations on a great career in offshore racing. We are proud to have competed against you, won some, lost some. Through it all you are a true gentleman that we should all aspire to emulate. Best of luck in this new chapter of your life.

Thank you George for all you have done for the Sport. Have to agree that Joker is one heck of a boat! Will certainly miss having you out on the course, but we wish you all the best in your next adventure. I am sure whatever it is, you will do well.

George!
We have never met although I have watched you race and not since the beginning of time but since you were racing the Grumpy Old Men boat. I always respected your ability as a racers and for teaching Tyler everything you know. I didn't have to met you to know the type of person you were, all I had to do is read what your fellow competitors had to say about you. I always remember reading a post back when Chris Carbon from Papa Dukes Offshore Racing and you were racing against each other. Chris was the young Lion Cub and was joking around with you, the Old Lion and you told him that you had underwear older then him and I had such a good laugh about that. I'm really glad to see that the Jersey Boyz have inducted you into the Jersey Boyz Hall of Fame. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy and well deserved, wish you all the best and thanks for all the great memories.
