traveling west...it's a left turn, jug-handle and back to eastbound, right-hand side.

This is from NOAA. Sunday doens't look bad. A NW wind will lay the ocean down close to the beach.
Lets go racing!
Saturday. Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the morning. Then showers and thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may be severe in the afternoon with damaging winds and heavy rainfall. Highs in the upper 60s. South winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.
Saturday night. Showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Then mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Some thunderstorms may be severe with damaging winds and heavy rainfall. Breezy. Lows in the upper 50s. Light south winds becoming northwest late and increasing to 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.
Sunday. Mostly cloudy. Morning sprinkles possible. Windy. Highs in the upper 60s.
Sunday night. Becoming mostly clear. Lows in the upper 40s.

All day: Family fun, Windward beach.
11am: Drivers meeting, band shell, Windward Beach.
2pm – 4pm: Testing on the Metedeconk River for all registered boats.
5pm: Volunteers Captain meeting. Smitty's Marina behind the Pilot House restaurant on Rt 70 between Brick Blvd (Rt 549) and Princeton Ave. Pilot House is between the Dodge Dealer and Lightning Jacks Marina. Pull into the Pilot House parking lot and drive through to the rear. Smitty's is the large tan rack storage building in the back.
7pm: Party Jenkinsons Beach
Overnight race boat dockage available next to Windward Beach at the Laurelton Yacht Club.
Sunday
7am – 9am: Physicals, Windward Beach.
9am: Crane available Windward Beach, Laurelton Yacht Club.
10am - 11:30am: Coast Guard Station at Manasquan Inlet, volunteer boats to be inspected by Marine Police.
12 noon: All race boats leave wet pits under police escort.
12:50 noon: Coast Guard closes inlet to allow the fleet of racers to come out of the inlet at speed.
Milling area: In front of the Jenkinson's Beach.
Race starts.
Best viewing: anywhere from Jenkinsons to Bridge Ave in Bayhead.
All times approximate. Pray for sun.

If the rain stops. we'll be ok. The wind also needs to shift to come out of the NW.
