whats the word on this long island race???? I'd be happy to help out as the northshore of LI is my neck of the woods!

OPA may be teaming up with NPBA to put that race on.
No final decision has been made yet. At least they are still talking about doing it.
If not, NPBA has offered to run an event of their own running the P classes as well as the SOB's. "Single Outboard Boats"
I feel it would be in the best interest to see that the race can be worked out for all parties.
