Two days to Big Water Racing in Jersey

stupid question...i'm workin as a medic boat friday...callin for some seriously crappy conditions...will they still run it in that type of crap...6-8ft 14-35 knot winds and downpours ? not tryin to sound like an idiot but i'm in a 29 scarab with a 7'6"beam that i just bought and havent had her in that kinda **** yet and not sure if doing it with 2 strangers is the right time...lol

yes we will still race in that without a doubt...thats why they call it Jersey "Home of Big Water Offshore Racing"...the only way they will completely call it off is if the visibility is so horrible due to rain and what not, that the helis cant take off..and also if there is lightning of course...but otherwise its on!!!! if it is that bad there will be a storm course in affect which is all classes laps reduced by half....cant wait to see what happens see you on fri!

By the looks of Ron P. I'm thinking we all should get screwdrivers and tighten down everything in the boats before tomorrow's race. Sticks and Bert already took out the Ref. from The Flying Condo. Rain-X, Rain-X, Rain-X. See you all about 2:00 today.
