Somehow Augie convinced the Admiral to let him take her out for a little spin. We went up river a bit and then Augie wanted to see who's gun was bigger, his or the Admiral's. The Admiral wins.

Extreme Boats Mag checking out the bildge of the ship. 210,000 shaft hp moves this ship to 46knots. That's like 52 miles per hour!!!!! And it takes 7 MILES to stop from full speed, even using full reverse! Now that's an extreme boat!

So we had a little wood in the river to contend with. The patrol boats did an unbelievable job at cleaning up the river, otherwise, we would not have raced.

This was a great new venue. The boats ran right along the shore line and the Battleship.

BJ is the newest OPA Crash Test Dummy. He and his partner went for a swim in the very cold Deleware River. The State Police took good care of his boat after they got ejected in Turn 2.
