Hi BBB...any reason Goodwin instead of Riggs?

Also, you are running trips, correct?

Great looking boat!

I used Riggs when I re-powered from the HP 500 to Mels motors. Mel doesn't build his own so when I had them rebuilt I used Goodwin for the rebuild and Rod to install. I put the boat up for sale and couldn't give it away with triples so I went with twins and increased the power from 725hp each to 945 hp hopping to run about the same speed. Big Kurt that worked for Mel now works for Sweetwater in Oshkosh they did the work.

Gary Miesenberg did them I'll find out what they had to do and take some pictures. I had the crescent shaped B-Max and switched to the IMCOs .

The water passage between the imco and the Bmax upper don't mate up very well,Dean said something about machining it but still doesn't line up well.I guess you had to use the Bmax vert in the Imco lower?

Did ya notice any difference between the Imco over the crescent lowers?? I am waiting on my lower now. Iam running stock bravo style lower now.

I haven't run the IMCOs vs the B-Max cresent, but I was at a 30% slip factor with the B-Max so I switch to the IMCOs and added 1" spacers to get deeper in the water. I ran stock XZs vs IMCOs and would run like 99mph @ 5000 rpms and 96mph @ 5400 rpms I put the IMCOs on and ran 110 mph with the same props. I know they had to use B-Max vertical shafts and that was sent out someone. Will get all the details and let you know. Also Mark was a big help to my engine builder with the mapping He couldn't get up here but I know they both spent alot of time on the phone. Thanks again
