Thanx I would not go back to standing now & I only have about 15-20 hours in AFU (which is my 1st sit-down). To me you feel more like your part of the boat & it's also feels very much like your driving a car. My boat with the orange dash I get a little glare on real sunny days though other than the glare which would go away with a dark dash top it is more natural to me then standing.

I witnessed his motors on the dyno. DOHC custom EFI motors from Tim Grose. The 93 octane combo hit 1,479hp The exact same combo with ONLY changing blower pulleys and the supply line to methanol boiled the dyno water at 2,100 something!

Just checked it out. One of the earier dyno sessions is still on You Tube:

That was cool!

I was thinking it was going to be a toad, and just then the digital version of the analog hp guage, wrapped around and went to 1400+.

Does that thing have hemispherical heads?

I seen the motors at OL this summer when I stoped in. They are not mine so I didn't want to spill the beans.

I bet they last as long as 1100 Sterlings. The biggest issue with big blocks is the valvetrain. We work real hard on the Nascar stuff cause without overhead cams there is alot going on in the top end of the motor & that's usually where the problems start. As long as you keep good oil & prime the motors after they set a while & don't beat on them with cold oil the bottom ends are pretty solid.
