Question 44 Gtx

Hideaway Marine has 2 44 GTX's on there site. One with a really nice interior that was sold and the other just got listed. Both have Merc 1075's. Anybody have input on this model??? How fast with 1075 power??? Does it share Molds with a 42 or 46??? Seems like the perfect length for a sit down go fast....

I had the pleasure of checkin out the 44 with GD int. The 44 & 46 have the same bottom it's a 5 step. The 42 & 47 is a 4 step. I have not got a chance to ride in one. Johny O has run the black & green one & told me it's about 5 mph faster. Stay tuned word around the campfire is Mike is going to make a new GTX I know very little about the details but it's not my place to tell. Hope this clears up your questions. P.S. The green & black runs in the the low-mid 130's (info from Johny O).

I have not rode in a 44 yet but Johny tells me they're about the same as my 42 maybe runs a little flatter & ofcourse a couple mph's faster. As for the new GTX I can't really say. Give Mike a call ( please don't take this the wrong way but it's not my deal & I want to respect Mikes privacy). Trust me it'll be cool. Yes AFU is a quad step.

The 08 Hideaway boat runs like "a raped ape" according to a guy that was dialing it in. It is a beautiful boat in person, aptly named "Thriller" out of Boston, Mass.

I would prefer the blue/copper 07 OL Limited they have listed.

They all run like that. The quad step 42 GTX is awesome the 5 step 44 GTX is even better. I don't think Mike has a bad GTX with #6's out there.
