That thing is insane, what as setup (with full cabin too!) Sure looks tight under the hatch though...

I'm sure Dan will chime in, but I'd guess it will run 130-135 or so.

No offense but performance boating knowledge extends way beyond re-gurgitating numbers and figures. A salesman can do that. Performance boat knowledge comes from someone who does most if not all of the following first hand:

1. Actively drives performance boats on a daily basis
2. Spends endless amounts of time in the bilge of a boat doing motor work
3. Keen knowledge of hull design and fluid dynamics
4. Knows the inner workings of outdrives, gears ratios, material properties, etc
5. Understands the interaction between motor, outdrives, and user controls
6. Vast knowledge of common boat electrical components and circuitry

The list goes on and on...Simply being the PR person or office assistant in my opinion doesnt get you there.

I would much rather consult the likes of sick stinger for motor questions, glass dave for glass work or hull design, mrfixxall for outdrive questions, etc...People who actively do this stuff on a daily basis.

You've just eliminated 90% of the people on this board

Anyway, I've met Dan and Ken a few times, they've owned quite a few very nice boats and have a lot of seat time in them. They're also quite gracious and generous folks. I've run with them although it couldn't have been that big of a deal for them with my pokey 33' PowerPlay, fun never-the-less though.

Dan has a huge amount of enthusiasm for the sport, maybe it rubs some of the know-it-all's the wrong way sometimes but that's their problem. It's strange how that turns off some people and they make judgements without ever meeting him. To me, it's nice to see another generation coming up to promote and sustain this sport, in this pathetic economy with the high gas prices we're going to become an endangered niche market before long.

Nort I've known you for a long time. You and I came here about the same time. I've never seen you cause this much uproar and strife. You used to be witty and funny. Now you sound very embittered and mean for some reason. You're not making friends here I can tell you that.

And why are you raising hell in the Outerlimits forum?? You own a Formula and a Sea Ray. Nothing in here concerns you. I think you need to ask yourself why am I acting in such an aggressive, ugly manner.

I thought the same thing. I looked at that engine bay picture and I kinda felt like a serial killer after I cut up bodies and put them in my freezer. Sick and twisted - who does stuff like that? That chit aint right.
Cigarette built a 50 Marauder for Italian offshore racer Luca Fendi with that two forward setup. I think it has to do with CG issues but not sure.
