Glad to hear you are so excited about your purchase. It was extremely difficult for me to see you pull that boat down the street. I hope you enjoy the boat as much as my wife and I have over the last 6 years. Wait until you see the boat in the water.

Hoping to have the 42 done in less than 2 weeks in order to get a fix. You look like a big kid with a new toy in those pictures.

Coolerman 05-17-2009 09:31 PM

Nice boat! Don't that Eddie Young guy talk you into putting his motors in there...... He uses masking tape instead of duct tape. :drink:

Congrats on the new boat, looks great! :)

Your new one is one of the best looking 42's I have EVER seen. I mean how the hell do you improve on that? By the way....I am still cleaning mulch out of my New Balance's. You Chicago guys have "different" ways....:evilb:

Congrats on the boat and welcome to the Outerlimits family. That boat was at TAOD the same time as mine looked like a very well maintained boat, extremely clean.

Next time do not take so much time trying to get them off before you get in the boat. Then I would not have to throw them in the mulch. I thought it was you Nashville boys that were "Different".

dkwestern 05-18-2009 12:53 PM

Which 42 replaced it? Awesome boat!

That is one of the best looking rides I have seen in a while!!!! I love the orange/yellow combination. I've been looking to upgrade for a little over a year and narrowed my search to a new custom Nordic Flame or a used 37' Active Thunder. But this would be another boat to consider. I'm a lake boater and really don't want to go bigger than a 37'.

I didn't know OL made a 37'. Their website does not show the 37' as one of there models. Do they still make them? I did see a couple of 2000 37's in the classifieds but nothing newer. What year is yours? Do they have a full stagger? Can you tell me what kind of headroom the cabin has? It looks as if they have some kind of stepped hull......does anyone have a guess on speed with lets say 600 HP? What about ride? The 2 in the classifieds are in the 150K range, I have to believe a newer one (depending on HP) would be in the 200K + range? Again, beautiful ride!! Thanks!

customryder 05-25-2009 06:52 PM

so how fast?

JayFan 05-25-2009 08:28 PM

Awesome, Awesome boat...but I have a question for you OL guys.....so many of them don't have swim platforms or ladders....when it's 90 and you want to go for a dip or drain the lizard, how do you get back in that sweet ride without tearing yourself up on the drives????

ufix1 05-26-2009 06:21 AM

you can always ask for one at/from the factory or install one yourself.

Are you sure that OL's don't have swim ladders?
