Default 46 Sun pad

Is it just me or are they very small, I havn't seen one in person but it looks to be the smallest out of the OL V hull line. Can it be made bigger or is that it or the scoops ?

It is not as small as it looks, but a custom pad / hatch can be made. But I am 6'0 and quite round and I have lounged with another quite comfortably.

Well on my NT 4 girls could lay out and it made the boat look a lot better.

I thought the same thing, so when they built my 46, I had OL make a custom flat engine cover, with a full size sun pad, which we love. Shortens the back seats up some, they made them flat, but I also think it made the boat run a couple of mph faster.

That looks great I think it smooths out the boat and gives it more usable space. Do you know what the cost diff. was or was it no big deal when building ? I would be buying used and would need them to do it or if they can build it there and ship it to me I can put it on.

Dirtybird, love the paint on your boat. That is my new favorite 46.

It cost a few thousand extra, but they had to build a mold. So now they have the mold, and likely it shouldn't cost that much, but I am not sure. Maybe they charged me the mold and not the cover. You probably would have to pay for the engine hatch and pad, and that would may be just as much.

Looks like a 46, but those motors are single blowers, likely 700s, not 1075s

They are Teague 1200's it would need some paint work to get rid of the name on the deck.
