not right now, pretty basic cabin it does have a V-berth, still on the fence if we really want to let it go right now, the weather just starting to get nice here in Michigan. Really wanted to know what you guy's thought it was worth to see if I could get enough of my $ back. The thought of selling just makes me sick really love the boat, Just got it finished last year, now I might have to sell it. Thanks for the help. Dan

IMO, $90k is too cheap. Don't sell if you don't have to. I'm always looking around for deals, and I don't think you will be able to replace it with anything comparable for that price.

Sure, there are some cheap boats around but most or them need lot's of work or total updates.

Great re-do.......as far as pricing it certainly isn't going up in value anytime soon! The boat is 14 years old and isn't getting newer. You may find it easier to sell a freshly redone boat now (even though you aren't getting the top dollar you want) then it will be to sell that same boat in 5 years.

I have a buddy with a 02 42 Fountain with less than 100 hours. Boat is mint, he has waxed it more times than he has used it! He had an offer of 175K on it two years ago, he was holding out for 200K+. He owns it free and clear so his idea was if I can't get 200K I will keep it because I can't replace it for 175K.........He just got another offer, 125K and that 175K two years ago is looking like that was top dollar. Now take that 175K out in THIS market and he can easily replace that 02 42 with something newer and faster!

Tough call, I can see "both sides" its a crap market out there right now, but, replacing it with something similiar wont be cheap! There are still plenty of guys with deep pockets out there
