Only a few days left before Desert Storm starts

Drive shaft needs to be serviced and balanced, Vern just finished the drives and gimbals. I guess it's time to get busy

Question: The a/c water pick up is on the bottom of the boat. Can that system take 100mph water pressure in there, or am I supposed to shut that valve off when running?

I have the same setup, doesn't really matter, the pressure coming through there isnt that major...water's not going to travel 90*....at a high rate of pressure..

Ok thanks, good to know.
Because the one day I ran it, the seal on the water filter/strainer blew out and I had to shut the inlet valve. So, it got me thinking too much pressure. I'll replace the seal and try again

(new gimbals )

Thanks SLOWRIDE, I'm itching bad to get this baby in the water.

Someone must have balanced the driveshaft with a hammer, it was 70 grams out of balance drives going on today, new cables, aiming to launch Sunday night...wish me luck, lol

I've got to say thanks to Aaron at Absolute Speed & Marine (in Havasu) he's the man behind the wrench (yea he's my partner too) but he's the one doing all this work.
Helluva a good guy too

One step closer...
