We need more time with the boat..but, our experience with all the Ilmor folks has been fantastic...they listen and they respond..we had time is Steve's Ilmor powered 32 Skater before we bought the OL...we could not be happier with the package...most people do not understand this is a BIG boat...moving pretty good for "little" power!!!
the hull is efficient...
the engines are efficient!!
LED's are set for trim locations, drives locations, you enter the fuel amount when you put the fuel in...computer takes over, mpg, miles to empty, etc, etc
this is the dad responding, my son even let me take to 100 last weekend!!

Great to hear! You have the Gen IV 650 is that correct? I toured Ilmor a few years back and purchased a Gen III for my Cig 20 project. I think they really make an incredible engine and great people all together. Congrats! Great looking boat!!

Absolutely awesome season with the boat!! The Ilmor product is amazing, bullet proof, and is a perfect fit for an Outerlimits hull. Here's a few vids from last weekend on the CT river.

I wondered the same thing for such a great looking boat & overall performing package.
Speculation would be the fact that it doesn't make sense to manufacturer certain size boats when you have other models so close in length or the demand for the larger boat is greater. Everyone wanted MTI to offer a smaller cat, they built like 3- 36's & they were tough sells b/c they weren't really much cheaper to build than the larger boats. I'm not saying that's the case here but certainly w/ some of the other builders. Look at Mystic they are doing the opposite.

For me I wish they offered this model in a 36. The new 36SL is a super nice boat but I'm a sit down guy!
