I've hauled the race car to Watkins Glen many times and I'd think that has to be just about the same distance. Some beautiful country out there, but it's a hike for a one day event... especially hauling a 40' boat.

We usually tow up on Thurday and make a weekend out of it. Its more of a two day event with all the boats coming in Friday and a little get together Friday night. Just make sure you know where your going because there's alot of rocky areas up there. I'd say its def worth the trip!

Make the drive from CT up there everyweekend to my place....isn't that bad BUT if you are towing I can very much understand where that trip gets a LOT longer (specially if something happens). Great run with some great hardware and for the most part strongly supported by spectators up and down the river on both sides of the border.

Towing a fairly heavy load over a long distance... the "specially if something happens" is the part that always makes me nervous. I good weekend and become a bad one really quick out on the road!

I live about 30 mins from the track if you are ever up this way let me know. Its a real nice track, long, lots of winding curves, and trees/greenspace, reminds me of the track Elkart Lake

I go to the American Lemans series there every year. As well as the Ferrari challenge weekends, well worth the trip!
