I just wrote up a big response and then deleted it as I don't want to offend anyone. With that said, I will still say at this price point I would highly suggest holding out for an OL with #6 drives. You're in the drivers seat and have the option now. There were quite a few 37's built with 6's and these drives are significantly more reliable, much stronger, offer big performance advantages, are more desirable, and have better resale. You should be able to get into a nice 37 with 6's for $150k or less.

Personally, I would not buy an OL without #6 or Indy drives.

BTW, I have seen Rich's 37 multiple times and I can tell you it's very clean and extremely nice! Power and drives withstanding, I would certainly agree his is the nicest hull on the market! If you're looking for a turn key and reliable boat with mild power, you wont find a nicer one out there!

Scott, agree with everything that you said. All else being equal, #6's are the most desirable drives. But, you have to look at the whole package. Drives aren't the only factor when it comes to reliability, and I would argue that a bravo boat with stock Mercury Racing power will be much more reliable that a #6 boat with used blower motors. Most bravo failures come with trying to push big power through drives that just aren't rated for it. Merc 850's and #6's would be the ticket, but you just aren't going to find that in this price range.

If somebody wants to do 100+ mph than mine isn't the boat for them, this is an 83 mph boat. But, it starts EVERY time I ask it to, runs like a swiss watch, idles like a dream, and sips 87 octane fuel. RatedX was interested in LV's boat, which was a bravo boat with mild power, so I'm guessing that is what he wants. He would be crazy to buy another bravo 37 without talking to me first. There are lots of beautiful 37 OLs out there, but nobody else has invested the time or money that I have invested in INCOGNITO. BTW, not dying to sell it, in fact I just let the ad expire.

Rich,
Sorry if I came off as knocking your boat (or anyone else's). That was certainly not my intention, and why I deleted my first post. Although, I'm sure you and others know where I was coming from so I wont beat a dead horse here.

Again, RatedX if you are looking for a mild power bravo based37, Rich's is the cleanest out there without question. I can personally vouch for it and you'll be hard pressed to find a nicer example.

If you want #6's and the cleanest 37 on the market call Ted Link @ link's marine 302-354-4989. This boat is perfect. I think he has it listed in the classifieds......you have to see the boat in person to appreciate how nice it is.......

Scott, not at all, I know exactly where you are coming from. No worries. When dealing with a limited budget you always need to compromise somewhere. When I planned my redo I spent money on what was important to me. If you want to do 100+ mph this is not your boat. I focused my efforts on building a rig that was very functional with all the latest accessories/technology, and a showstopper at the docks. I wanted to pull up to the docks at any poker run next to the big boys and still be able to turn some heads. This boat will be impossible to replace, which is why I'm in no real hurry to sell.
