If you like race boats, it would still be a nice boat with like 725 ilmors, you could still get into it ready to roll for 250k , it is a full carbon boat would be a disadvantage with the ride.

It was and has always been more of a pleasure boat than a race boat.

I'm looking at several GTXs right now with no power. Would want to install Sterling 1550s.

Im in no rush, as my boating season is over untill May.

I want to make up my mind on what route ill go in by next month.

Thanks for the info from everyone.

What? That boat was built to break speed records. I think you are losing it.

Paul it was built as a poker run boat. It was built just like all the other 47 GTX's not a special one off. It had a full dash and a five man interior.

I am the proud new owner. I'm on the hunt for a deal on some motors. The boat is very sweet.

Thanks. The Fountain is just awesome. I put 1075's in it and it runs like a scorned dog. Yes I am keeping it. My wife is thrilled....lol.
