The last few times on the lake, the top step leading down into the cabin carpet gets wet. It's not raining, the cooler isn't leaking, it's as if the water wicks up from below. The top step gets wet first and progresses down to the next step and only on about the third day on the water, the floor carpet gets damp. It's a '98 side by side helm. The boat is new to me this year. I found a pump that doesn't work under the (head) sink that apparently goes to the drain at the rear of the head. We hand pumped some water out of there before going this past weekend, and the carpet got wet again. Any thoughts or ideas of where to look or what to do would be appreciated; water "inside" boat = bad.
