New 36SL
I've never been crazy about some of the OL styling but this new, 2014 36SL is one good looking boat! Can someone loan me a couple hundred grand?!?! Nice performance out of the mild 520s too.

We built the boat and could not be happier!!
The boat is amazing to drive, even with 520hp a side!!

BrettM was kind enough to let me tag along for the maiden voyage at Lake Cumberland. I was blown away by the midrange acceleration given the relatively "mild" power (and the two year warranty is nice!) The fit and finish was outstanding, as you would expect from OL. The freeboard for a boat this size also impressed me. As for the ride, the boat rode very level, even when coming on plane. At speed, it stayed true and never dealt us any surprises, even in the rough stuff at the start of the Poker Run.
I could go on, but I don't want to steal Brett's thunder. Turn-key power and 100 MPH, my hunch is that this will be a very popular model for OL.

I agree boat looks great and had great numners for that power......question, are those seats stand-up, I checked it out on the web-site and it's hard to tell, do they have a flip up.

Jim - they're kind of a unique set-up... the bottom doesn't drop down like a typical bolster, it is fixed and contoured to fit your "seat." You basically use it like you would a normal bolster with the bottom down. It's the same seat frame they use on the 44SL, but the fixed, contoured part was the first I have seen from OL. Still a comfy seat.
