I agree and I think it is awesome that OL has a factory team. Back in the days of F2 you had all of the factories running their stuff and supporting the sport. Where is cigarette, nortech, Etc????

No one is being singled out. The class was willing to try allowing some boats to run and see how it worked out some didn't work out. Some one mentioned Broadco and Instigator...Broadco also moved up and for Instigator he is running 750-800 HP . The only way to build a class is to try the best you can to have close and equal racing for the fans and the racers. Its not all about speed its also acceleration. I'm sure OL will come up with something Joe always does.

SBI made the rules if you build a boat to run the rules why is SBI changing them. I just bring this up because racing has become a joke, they can't get race teams to commit because of things like this. Look back on the 525 days of racing that was racing. Should build a 565 class today thats where the sport needs to go. Racing is a very important part of the sport, that is how most of the technology comes from and trickles down to the consumer.
