The 06 PBC has for sale is my bosses boat. Likely the cleanest 42 around. 1 owner, freshwater, kept in climate controlled storage, no expense spared

So have you already asked for a phenomenal employee discount?

Thumbs up

The 42 at PBC is a very nice boat and package, just not my taste in style and colors. I also don't really want the maintenance schedule on 850s

Thanks for the suggestion though

The ‘14 - 36’ SL is a nice boat. It runs high 90’s with the 520’s. I know it can be bought for under 240k.

I've always wondered how those ride compared to the 37's. Fast hulls for sure, so they have to be lighter, and typically heavier boats are smoother in snotty or choppy water. The SL seem to run flat in videos and not chine walk, etc. The drawback to most boat reviews is they always look for positive things to say and never point out if a boat manufacturer made a change to a hull that didn't work as well. I've only seen 2 36's, so not sure how many were even built.

It's amazing how few of the original 37/42's with big (non-merc) power and #6's are out there for sale.

In general, there are not a lot of boats for sale. Remember 5-6 years ago? OSO had 900-1000 boats in classifieds. Now 400 or so. Cheaper to redo what you have than go newer. $150k doesn't buy much for a new boat anymore. A pontoon........
