Wood in 37?
Is there any wood ( stringers, transom or floor) used in construction of the 37? I was just wondering if there was anything that can rot? I found one that has sat outside in the elements for unknown am out of time.

All of it is wood in an early 37, not sure on the later ones. They are some of the best laid up and sealed up boats I've worked on. It would've had to have been neglected pretty bad to be rotted.

It's a 97 or 98 if that makes a difference. It was been sitting in a lot for a year or 2 it's about 11hrs away so just trying to do little research before I go look.

That boat in Arizona was a friend of mines boat when it was new in massachusstts. Nice package with the 575’s .

Also , if memory serves me correctly , the center stinger and the transom were the only wood in the early 37’s. The other stringers were foam encapsulated in glass .
