Default Coming from the DarkSide, Cigarette owner. Tell me about

The SL 44. There are so many myths I have heard about this brand, I come direct to you for all the specifics. I just sold my 39 top gun, looking at something over 40 ft, tell me about the SL 44. I have heard about chine walking, doesn't handle rough water well (in general for outerlimits), fast as hell, etc.
What can you all tell me. The one in Canada has caught my eye. Thoughts? Thanks in advance. I am genuinely curious and best place to get info is on here.

You have to know how to run them. They aren’t like a cig in any way. If your looking at one go to the factory and sea trial with someone that knows what they’re doing.
That said, they are great rough water boats, dry ride in the cockpit, very fast.
Again someone that has no clue running it will make it walk all over, someone that knows will take you for one of the best rides you’ve been on.

They ride super flat. The steps do the work and bow lift is not really needed. Almost feels like the tabs and drives are buried when riding in one.

If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me at the factory. The SL44 is an awesome boat and the one in Canada is immaculate!!

As for saying OL doesn't handle good In rough water is also not true at all . I've spent a lot of time in An older 42 legacy ... beast mode

Cant really compare an older 42 to the newer SL models. The early 42's were some of the best
