I am wondering about the 37 cockpit size. Alot of them have staggered engines and I just looked at Wildthing at Smoke on the Water and he had triples, so my question is, Do the boats set up with side by side engines have a longer cockpit or do they just have a bunch of empty room in the engine compartment in front of the power?
I also read somewhere on here that the 37 and 42 cabins were close in size and the extra length of the 42 was mostly engine compartment and a small amount in the cockpit. Is that true at all? Curiousity at its finest (also research for my next purchase in a couple years) Thanks, Darren

My friend had a 37 with a side by side setup. OL modified the firewall and extended the cockpit so he could have more room.
