Your boat should run real close to 80 and will do it in a 2 ft chop. Do yourself a favor and call Hydromotive or Throttle Up. We (T-Mone, Throttle Up, Hydromotive and myself) did a bunch of prop testing this spring and the 24 Pantera really likes the 5 blade prop. They have a few different ones but T-Mone ordered one at the end of our testing. It came on plane great, was tied with the fastest 3 blade (GPS) and made the boat handle so much better than before. We were on Tampa Bay with a good honest 1-2 ft chop with the occasional 3+ and with the 5 blade you did not have to "drive" the boat so much. While I think it is self gratifying and fun to drive a 7' beam boat through nice rough water at 65-70 it gets nerve racking at 80. I will call T-Mone and have him post the hard numbers from all the different props we tested. Good luck with the new boat, It's looking good.

approx. 585 hp, and if I remember correctly it was a 26 pitch but we could only twist about 5100 but he ordered a 24 because he wants to be around 5600-5800. Our best GPS speed was 81.7 but it was rough and humid

or 110 tied to my boat
