Re: Prop Testing on 24
Hey Ironman,
I ended up with a 25 pitch P5-X I guess hydromotive is having some problems with supplying 24's they say they really don,t know when they might come in so Julie sent me a 25 that they will take some pitch out of and make it a true 24 when I can send it back. The prop did exactly what they said 5500 rpm trimmed out I am looking for 57-5800 rpm . The boat handles awesome in the rough water. I look forward to getting it back and see what it does. |
Re: Prop Testing on 24
T-Mone - Forgive me if I have overlooked a previous thread,
But what kind of power are you running? HP & Tourque. Thanks for the extinsive info in the post. |
Re: Prop Testing on 24
I have a 502 custom built, In the boat application it is pushing at 5800 rpm 585 Hp and 531 ft lbs of torque. Hope that that helps, Anthony..

Re: Prop Testing on 24
Has anybody tried the revolution prop or hydromotive IV?
I've got a 23p hydro i might try. Any experience w/ these? |
Re: Prop Testing on 24
Just picked up a 22 B1 and will test it this weekend.
Should have a labbed 24 B1 by early next week. |
Re: Prop Testing on 24
I ran a 22p Bravo on my 1989 with the 330. At 4900rpm about 63mph.
I'm guessing a 24p Bravo will be a better choice for you Storm. Stock, a 24p Bravo will turn about 100rpm less than a 23 Mirage+. |
Re: Prop Testing on 24
I wanna go test these things already.
Can I get a day off work to do this sh*t! Will a labbed 24 get less cruise than a stock 24B1? |
