It all depends how the prop was altered...

From my experience, it is better to test with stock props.
Pick what works best stock, then tweak for that last 1-2mph.
"Labbed" props don't always work better. It may take a few tries...

Tested the 22B1 this weekend.
Not Good.
Got up on plane a bit easier, and was able to take more trim.
But I lost 2 mph at cruise speed, and lost 3mph top end.
And I cant tell if I like the 4 blade better than the 3, maybe since I'm so used to the 3blade Mir +.

Storm, a 22p Bravo has quite a bit less pitch than a 23p Mirage +. Bravos tend to measure low and Mirage + high.
You are going to loose speed with a 22p at the same rpm.
You need to try a stock 24p Bravo 1. You should gain a little cruising speed but will not likely on top. The Bravo 1 is a better rough water prop in my opinion though.

I'm waiting for the demo shop to call me when the 24B1 comes available.
In the meantime, I'm bringing the boat to the southshore for some oceanrunningfun... finally! :evilb: :evilb:
