I need something on my boat. Someone on the board came up with this last year. I need opinions. If you're good at photo shop, what's your idea? I like the eyes in the black background. I hope the purple could be more of a single purple color with a slight fade to black and the lines would be straight, not jagged of course.

leave it all WHITE. Albert had grahics on it and took them off and WOW the boat looks so much better now. If you really want to put something on it put huge eyes in the middle of the boat in green. good luck

Get the purple to fade to black then back to purple put the eyes in the black part of the fade.So purple black (eyes) purple.

WHITE !!!!!!!!!!! graphics tend to age the boat
Just my opinion though..we had the large eyes on the sides...it was the first thing i did...peel them off....

I like the plain white too BUT I also think that a 4" or 5" black shear stripe with 3" green eyes near the stern would be very sharp. Match the reg #s to the green up front. or run a bunch of the eyes from the cockpit back. one set for each family member. The shear stripe will make it look like 32 feet.

I like the way the eyes look like they are looking through a dark hole. Kinda' threatening! (That's what Panteras are!)

What about the Green Eyes on the Black background only?

I take it you guys didn't like the purple stripes coming out?

i think less really is more...white is right...maybe a trick graphic near the stern. don't paint it.(lower resale),lots of work...go vinyl...easier to change

I agree, Definately don't paint it. Less is more.
Of course this is coming from someone who is about 1/4 of the way done removing painted graphics.

If you really need the graphics use somthing that will highlite the sheer good looks of the lines of the boat.

I liked it. I for one don't like a white boat. I like some color and the eyes should have a black background like shawna said they look threatning.

how bout a stripe likeon the CIG "FAT BOY", but in black with big green eyes over the black. have the front of the stripe carry over the top of the farring with PANTERA writing also in green.

Kirk you have to please yourself, do what you mind tells you too as far as the decision making on your graphics. My suggestion to you is to do it satisfy yourself that you did it, and if you dont like it then remove it and go on. I baught my boat all white, told Jo that I always loved the checkered flag did it, didnt like it and removed it.

It's staying white for now. I like the eyes in the black background but don't know what striping to go with, so for now white works for me.

Forget the Graphics , get that motor in there and get to the water . Were all waiting to see what another 100 hp will do in that 28 .

i liked the all white with the green eyes in the middle. so simple and so cool. im a big fan of these sick paint jobs but the all white pantera with the green eyes in the middle is one of my favs.

Motor is in and went for a test ride yesterday. Since day one I've had problems with my drive trim and test day ended up being the day teh drive would not trim up at all.

I took the pump off and will rebuild it and then check the rams. The motor ran real good, but without being able to trim up, it wasn't going to tell me how good the extra 85 HP and RPMs were going to do me.

Hope to have it all back together and out next week.

bad trim pump , thats a bummer on the first ride of the season . I'm sure you well have her back in the water soon , post some mph / rpm numbers when you can .

Hey kirk , Jo say's a couple more weeks , hope to be out right after Sonny's . Not to much left , interior , swim platform and a short list of little stuff . Had a buddy stop and take a few pictues two weeks ago and it looks real good . Pepe and the boys are doing a nice job , can't wait to get it wet .

Hey Morgan:

Are you going to put some mufflers on the exhaust? Connecticut is getting pretty tough on the sound laws. How about NY State? Looks like you're almost ready for the great splash. Need some hoses on the hydraulic steering, though and you should be ready. Interior should like nice. When is it going in? I'm going to have to change my throttles. The bend in the throttle touches the trim tabs switch at Full Throttle. You may want Jo to look into that for you.

You'll have to get down there and take some more pictures for us. My tongue is dragging the floor waiting to see her out on the water. Of course, seeing the real thing on the Sound would be great.

Leaving for Florida today to brign FT back to CT. Hanging with B-Stubb whose fixing my trailer for me. Damn he knows so much about these contraptions and boat engines, that's another story. My prowess with the mechanicals of a boat are two simple things....(1) gas & (2) turn the key!! :D

Seems like the boat is coming along nicely.

That dash is turning out to look really nice Morgan. I was getting that same steering wheel in my 28, but I wasn't sure of the color just yet. Momo makes a wheel that's blue instead of the gray, and the blue will actually match my bezels better than the blue on the normal wheels that Jo puts in the boats. But dude it looks awesome and looks like Pantera is making an awesome effort to get us out of there.

Mike, I'm so sad that you finally let that boat go, but maybe you can turn things around and order a 36 next year. Now that would be worth letting that 28 go!!!

Himes , yes it is a 28' glad you guy's like it , I was worried no one would like the platnuim grey .
I'm going for that old school look with no white on the boat ,no powder coat , everything is polished al. or stainless , that's the way I like it .

Jo , Thanks for the recent pic's on the trailer , she looks good on that Myco , rumor has it the cockpit interior will be done early next week . Let me know when to come down and get her . My pickup is full of fuel all waxed up ready to make the run . Thanks for all the hard work the last few weeks , hope you make out well with Sonny's this week , strap them vest on tight for that ride .

Mikebrls , you know you will be on the first ride out of Haulover , to bad you sold so soon I was looking forward to running you out in some of the ruff stuff . What will you buy next ?

Kirk , so much for your graphic's forum , we are all Pantera bro's so I'm sure it's ok . I'm guessing she will be ready the next week or so , Sonny had everbody jammed up but I think things should get rolling good next week . Keep your fingers crossed for me . Let us know how you made out with your repair and how she is running , what prop ? what RPM ?
