Stereo install in the 24

Finally got around to installing the stereo. Took a LONG time starting from scratch but at least I know it was done right. :D
Here's some pics for ya Kirk and whoever else cares. :D First I measured and marked where the speakers would go. Then taped them off to make sure there would be no chipping of the gel coat. |

I then had to feed all the wires and install the head unit.

I then wired the amps, capacitor and crossovers under the rear seat.

Home stretch! Time to install the speakers! :D

Installed the remote "bass boost" under the head unit.

Fired it up and no blown fuses! :D
The 6.5s sounded great but the subs were weak. :( Time to make some air tight enclosures! |

Used some camper top tape to make a tight fit and screwed the cover down.

Sounds awesome now! Had to turn the sub amp way down. :D
Added some protection to the subs and it's now complete! :evilb: |

Looks great, nice install. I'd be careful with those amps on the floor, you can get water under that cover. Nice job Scott. |
