We lost the drive belt to the water pump when I was passing Mange, a couple of hundred yards later when we turned around the engine stopped :eek: :eek: :eek: . One of the guys riding with me starts yelling for the fire estinguisher... :(
But the only thing that happened was that the exhaust hoses burned up and the engine room was filled with burned rubber and exhausts. We changed the drive belt from the generator to the water pump and went back to port. 100 yards from port the batteries went dead... :p |

But about an hour later we were back in business! :evilb:
The engine stopped either because of all the smoke in the engine room or because of the water coming in through the end pipes. It runs exactly as before, through every rpm. |
