Default operating controls

have been out getting use to new 24. Have shifter and thottle; however, when I take my hand off the thottle it drops of. As a result, it makes it hard to adjust drive and tabs when getting up in speeds. I have not looked, but I am assuming I can tighten somthing on the back side of the thottle. What would I be looking for?

Wife and I were out yesterday, and we able to find some rough water. When out in the open we were at about 60MPH. Was trying to bring the drive up more, but started to walk a little. Wanted to use the tabs (have the larger K-planes), but could not take hand off throtle or wheel, so had to back off. Wanted to get tabs done and adjust drive more. i know I can reach 70mph, but not without being able to adjust everything. Anyinfo of what to look for totighten throttle up would be appreciated.

I like going fast, but honestly like getting in the rough stuff, and this thing is great in it.

which shifter system do you have?
Maybe it would be a nice upgrade project for the winter.

Just take out the 4 screws that hold the shifter/throttle down and lift it out as much as possible. The resistance is easily adjustable. Can't remember the specifics, but it only took me a few minutes to adjust mine a few years ago.

Looked under the control panel. Looks like there is a flat phillips screw. About .25 to .5 in in diameter. Is this what I am looking for?

Don't know for sure without seeing it. Giive it a turn and see if the throttle tightens up.
