Hey B-stubb , Not trying to jack your thread or anything & forgive any oversight but what kind of power where you making before your update ? I am looking for performace #'s & prop slip #'s at aorund 750 - 800 hp Thanks , Scott

Thanks guys & yes that does help. I had a good idea that it would take 750 hp to see a real low 80's. These heavy conventional deep V's take big power to go but when they do go they are hard to stop ! I no longer have a 28 Pantera & now have a 28 Saber & that is what I am asking for. There are no big power single's out there for me to compare to & I knew that a 28 Pantera would probably be my best comparision & I knew my pantera brothers would be glad to help out. My boat should come in right around 4900-5000#. Thanks again for the info & I will give you your thread back now. By the way Congrats on the sucssesfull upgrade. The boat seems to be running very strong. Scott
