My 28 Pantera
 

Hey guys well it looks like I'm getting close to completion. Just figured I'd post a few pics of the boat. I haven't posted anything about the boat in a while so I just wanted to get some pics out there.....

It will have a 600ci Cobra motor should be around 750hp for power. I'm having the graphics done in vinyl it's going to be mainly blue green and platinum!!!!

Pepe and Jo just put on the Aluminum rub rail for me. I must say it turned out awesome. I know they are a pain to do so thank you guys for doing it for me...

I'm heading down in couple of weeks for work and to get the boat so if anyone needs anything taken down I'd be more than happy to help. I'm in Maryland so just let me know....

What do you have for gauges and colors?

nice motor :) you will love the power .
you will need a lab 4 blade 28 pitch for that package for top end and good cruise speed . if you want a mean midrange punch throw on a 26 pitch 4 blade .
best over all prop will be a race lab 28 pitch .

jo had my 28 with the same motor at 84 mph with stock 28 pitch at like 5450rpm so by labbing it will bring it to 5750 rpm that's where the revlimiter is set on those motor's "5800rpm"" and will probly get 87 to 88 mph :)

Here are a few more pictures of Mike's new Pantera 28' single Cobra 700 HP. These were taken approximately 2 weeks ago. Will try and get newer pics. once the graphics go on next week. Colors are Blue, Pantera green, and Platinum.

Thanks for posting some pics JO! I'm getting real excited to have this thing in the water soon. Can't wait to see what kind of numbers we get out of it.

Well I'm leaving tomorrow morning for Florida. I will be there for two weeks for work and to get the boat. Can't wait I'm so excited I will post some pics of the boat and stuff as things progress. Sure nobody needs me to take anything down for them or bring anything home? I will be more than happy too!!!! I will be staying at the Hollywood Beach Marriot in Lauderdale so if anyone wants to take me out on their boats or to show me around I'm there! Mike Berg give me a call I want to check out your boat and go out for a blast in that awesome water...

Here are a few new pics. Mike decided on Platinum , Blue , and Pantera green. The Platinum color will be installed tommorow on the vinyl graphics and the Pantera logos will be done in Platinum color inside the White oval. I will try and post more pictures later this week. Engine room rigging still needs to be detailed !!!

My goal is 85-87 MPH on GPS with a labbed 28' 4 blade.Cobra motor makes approximately 700 HP.

It takes a lot of ponies to break 90 Mike, lets not get crazy with speed on a pleasure boat with a NA motor.

i think high 80's is with in reason .
i know my 28 with the same motor 725 to 750 hp did 84mph with a stock 28 pitch 4 blade @5300 to 5400 rpm .this new motor is suposed to be hoped up a bit more, some where close to 775 hp+ so i would think that with a labed 28 he should atleast see 4 or 5 mph faster then my old boat .so i guess we will see if the motor was tweaked real soon with the top end #'s :)

Wow she looks great

Here are some new pictures of Mike's new Pantera 28' powered by a single Cobra 750 HP with a Bravo 1 XR drive. Boat turned out awesome !!! We ran it last night and took it up to 80 MPH with much more left in it. Should run 85-86 MPH on GPS with no problem.Engine room rigging is immaculate !!!

Mike is on his way home with his new Pantera for Memorial weekend.

Here are some more pics. Dash was done with a combination of Platinum and Blue including a custom Momo leather steering wheel, custom push button ignition panel, and Billett throttles.

Nice colors

Here is the transom. I decided on a labbed 28' with a few added tricks done to it. Boat accelerates like a twin 500 EFI 28'.:D We went with Marine machine steering, Pantera logo race tabs, aluminum swim platform powdercoated white, and a custom engine hatch with a double intake Naca ducts and custom Pantera embroidery.
