Ha, we were talking about the old Boat's Unlimited Special Last night! You always have a special place in your heart for your first love... Just not a place in my garage!

I just joined offshoreonly to see if anyone knew about this boat; glad I did. Thanks everyone for the heads-up bout this boat. Thinking about moving up from a Donzi 18 classic as Biscayne Bay is a little rough for my lake boat.

Wen, check out a 24' Pantera. Great step up from an 18 without going too far up, quick little boat and great for running around the Bay and out into the ocean for a blast!

Thanks Dudesweet and rchevelle, I think you may be right about the Pantera 24. For an occasional zip into the ocean, waterskiing, diving and just tooling around it probably fits the bill. My friends Baja 232 works pretty good in that role around Biscayne Bay, but I wanted just a little more comfort in the ocean.

bwen, the 24 would work fine.
BUT... if you can find a 28 in your price range, it'd be worth it.
Right DS?
If you could swing 30-40k, you can get into a 28. May need a bit-o-work thou.
