The hatch looks great on that boat. Very cool.
Mike, I can't wait to see pics of your boat with a rec hatch. Are you adding a swim platform? The all-white is sweet. I may have to cruise up river next year and check it out in person!

Dan,
That's correct I have a new hatch at the factory coming together with the sunpad and embroidery which should look great ... also I have a used aluminum tube swim platform I am refinishing to all white, it should look great on the "all white" boat.
These two items will make a huge difference hanging out for the day at Lakeside Park in Port Huron!

Thanks Mike,
The white is very easy to clean.. Yes, it shows more, but glossy powder coat and Imron paint wipes quick with a towel. I always jump in the bilge after every outing, spray a little simple green, and wipe everything down. There is usually blow by oil on and around valve covers and it can drip off the cover on to the mount or bilge. Very easy to see an stay on top of. The black paint was old and would not be as easy to clean.
I would do it again.
I will most likely powder coat my inner transom plate and every black bracket I can find when I pull the mtr.

. I wire wheeled/sanded/3M padded all the old paint off plus the rust to bare metal and primered and painted three coats each side. Getting ready for the 12/14 install.
