Thanks socalstone! you were the one that started this whole thread that helped me find this boat, and learn about it before discussing the deal with Scott. Thanks Dude!
No problem man.... like somebody said- the right buyer hadn't found her yet. I was good to go with desire and cash, but had recently purchased a new boat with a 600 (= chitty trade-in/resale). The unanswered engine issues (and there were issues) stalled me and I didn't have time for a project. Glad you got her. That is a kick-ass boat through and through and I'm looking forward to more photos through your rebuild. keep us posted! |

Well I finally finished the swim platform to match up with the all white Pantera. Turned out nice, stripped it then coated with self etching primer for aluminum and finished white.
Next weekend up to the boat for 2 days of work to finish the engine installation! :p Then the waiting begins ....... |

If not I have one from my old platform that may work for you. The guy I sold the platform to did not want it. $100, PM me if interested. |

Nice job,

Actually I have a four step stainless telescoping platform that I have already drilled the mount holes for before refinishing the platform. I'm just not sure if I'm going to use it or not .... I'm worried about it dropping down by mistake and dragging in the water. How was your ladder secured? |
If you need gauges or rigging, let me know. Full Line Livorsi now!!!

I have had to disassemble and lubricate a time or two because it has gotten stuck closed. |

The Extreme Marine ladder I have has a metal latch that grabs the tube from the inside. A spring-loaded button with a shaft that pushes the latch open to release it.
