Sean, I suggested and took that picture of albert that night....I told him he should take a picture next to his creation....I swear he was having separation anxiety as we put it on the truck.................
only two things people will say when they see that motor under the hatch......Dude!Sweet! |
It's a nice clean looking motor. It's going to go good with the yellow bilge. I'm dying to hear the crackle of that exhaust through the pipes... I swear I can almost hear it!
And Albert knows that the driver's seat is his anytime he comes out to Socal! |
doesn't he look like a proud papa.........
|
And tense! I hope you took him out for some drinks after!
Don't worry, I'm going to take real good care of that motor! :chimp: |
oh well, so much for my PM. :circle:
Purple rocks!!!! nice choice. |
Now this should produce some really good data. same boat, drive and prop with a new engine. I cannot wait to hear how this works out. Go Dude!!!!
|
oh yea!! let the wrench twisting begin....
on your mark,...get set..... GO!! |
Yah, it's pretty cool. I'm dying to lay into the project, but I've decided to wait until after the poker run at the end of the month. I don't want to ruin the run with any of the little teething issues that can crop up when you do a motor swap and partial re-rig. All it takes is one wire too close to the exhaust to ruin your day...
But the first week in October the motors are getting swapped. First run out will be to make sure nothing leaks or falls off and the second day out will be with three or four props. I'm going to stick with a 4 blade prop and try my stock 26, a labbed 28 and a labbed 30 at least. We'll see! Can't F'ing wait! |
woooooooowwwwiiiii...................tits in the wind. :cool-smiley-011:
