I have recently purchased a new 28 Pantera, I will be in the Tampa / St. Pete area this weekend (Thurs. thru Tuesday), Just wanted to know if there were any 28's that I could check out to get some Ideas for my build....Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.!!.....

Yes, Jo and Pepe are making some pretty radical changes to the 28, as you probably have read on the web site, they are going to introduce the new "twin step" designed hull, and they are also going to recess the sides of the hull. they have redesigned the helm,...along with a many other modifications. I have been lurking here on OSO for quite sometime reading all of the posts, and now I'm going to need the help of the Pantera family to help through my decision making process as to what i need to go with as we start the build process...

I agree that is a gorgeous boat, and i have tossed those color combs around...I also like the Cigarette "Step 7" ? I do not want to go to crazy with the design, I would like to keep it clean and simple..Somehow accent the recessed hull sides with the color fading to the transom...

Right now the Merc. 525 W/ XR drive...subject to change...any suggestions.?? I want the reliablity.
