Well looks like I am going to end up with a Baja spot 220. Not that bad has a alpha with a 350 mag. So it should be decent on the gas milage. I plan on having fun with it for the summer and possibly upgrading in the fall or winter to a Pantera. I still dream of the panteras though. Those of you who have one take some time and appreciate it, I know you can get caught up in the bigger, faster, louder stuff but some times its nice to reflect and say hay I have one the baddest A$$ boat around. I can't wait until spring now the Baja will be my first boat, although I have been on plenty but not performance ones. I posted some pics of it in the Baja forum if any one wants to check it out.

Yes enjoy them I used to have a 1999 28 that I bought new white finally got it painted 2 years later like I wanted put in bigger motors and hydraulic steering and then went and traded it. What a mistake that was I regret it everyday. Speakin of my old boat does anyone know where it is. It is the 28 with the green, purple and teal graphics and uncivilized on the side? The guy who bought it posted on here a few times just afterwards, this was back in 2004.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Did you see the 95 24 pantera listed for $17K.

I thought you were moving up to be able to handle the rough a little better. That 22 baja ain't going to get you there. When the wind picks up do you want to duck and cover or play?

I know but for what I am buying the baja for it's hard to pass up. Also I can't swing that kind of dough for the pantera right now. Trust me I wish I could!!!! Thanks for caring though.

DON'T DOOOOOO IIIITTTTTTTT!!!!!

You've only been searching for 2 weeks (from the start of this thread).
I was watching mine for over a year, and finally the planets came inline, and I had my money together and it came for sale at the same time.
If you've got your heart set on a Pantera, wait it out. They come up for sale, but if they are priced reasonably they go quickly, so you gotta watch and move fast - like I said earlier, Robltc's would have been the perfect candidate, but it went fast, and is on it's ways over-seas.
You're gonna dump all kinds of money into the Baja (or any brand for that matter), and when you go to sell, you won't get it back, and you'll be right back where you are now and buying another Baja.
