You never see that many older 28s around.

My two cents for what it is worth...when the first 28TS comes out of the mould, which should be soon, the price is going to be much different than the current v bottoms, due to demand. In my mind this could stabilize the cost for the older conventional hulls. Again, my two cents. Is it that I'm bias because I'm selling my conventional hull?

That's all gonna depend on how well it performs. :cool-smiley-027:

Question though, how long after the new TS is available will you still be able to get the old style?

Full Throttle 525 01-17-2008 02:25 PM

I'd say the answer to that is up to Pantera. I don't really know how easy it is to remove the blocks from the mould to produce a conventional hulled boat and then replace them for the TS version.

If the TS is successful, I'd say the demand for the conventional hull would decrease. Although the value of the old hull would depend on supply and demand. It could stabilize the value or reduce it drastically. I guess we'll see.

Care to buy a conventional hulled Pantera 28? :-)

IMO, they will always sell the straight 28.
They shelved the 24 2yrs ago....

As I understood it from Jo is they were going to keep the old 28 for twin applications.

What does TS stand for?
