It will definitely add strength to the sides of the hull. Plus it looks just BADAZZ!!!!

How do you pull the hull out of the mold w/ the recessed sides? I guess the recessed side inserts will come out w/ the hull?

Should be pretty slick. I can see where it would take awhile to get that all figured out and still be able to use the mold for straight sided model.

How does recessing the hull sides add strength? I assume the recess is the dark area in the picture.

I was fortunate enough to get to the factory after arriving in Miami late yesterday and Jo showed me the process with the inserts and the awesome bottom on the new 28. This will be an unbelievable upgrade to an already spectacular boat.

The Duckys 36 hull was starting to get rigged, tried to buy it, but no luck!!

Someday!!!!!

Can't wait to see the new 36 at the show today.

That recessed side makes it look like the "Cove" behind the front wheels of a Corvette. Its an interesting look that I cant remember being done before,I hope your boat sells as well as the Vett.

I don't think you can patent something unless it has some functional purpose. Might be able to trademark it though, although I think it would be hard.
