Well we took this new 36' out this afternoon and on its 1st run and we were very pleased to see 76 MPH on GPS with 3 guys and a 1/2 tank of fuel on board. I ran a pair of stock 26' pitch Bravo 1 4 blade and ran up to 73-74 MPH bumping the limiters at 5150 RPM. Then I put a pair of stock 28' pitch Bravo 1 and spun them at 4750 - 4800 RPM and ran consistent 76 MPH. I think with a pair of labbed 28' pitch Bravo 1 spinning at 5150 RPM and 79-80 MPH are there. Remember these motors are brand new with 2 hours on them so once broken in RPM should increase a bit more.

This is a "true" 36' foot boat with out platform and right around 8300-8500 pounds. Its incredible that we are getting the same performance with these twin 496 HO - 425 Mercs. than our traditional full deep v 28' model with same HP.Our "twin stepped bottom" just works perfect. It turns like a regular deep V and very fast in flat and rough water conditions.

Will try and test some Hydromotive props, and set of labbed 28' Bravo 1 and see if we crack 80 MPH in the next couple of days.

Here are a few pictures from this afternoon. Boat looks awesome in the water.

Here is a picture of the GPS speedo after 1 of the runs. The cockpit looks real sharp !!!!

Custom engine hatch with dual intake Naca Ducts. Pirelli rubber flooring with padded angled footrests.

Here are a few pics. of the cabin and engine room.

Would like to try a staggered Mercruiser 496 HO - 425 HP set up in the near future. A 4-5 MPH increase over the side by side configuration and speeds well into the 80s with stock HP and 5 year warranty.
