Nice job on the dash Tomas! What did you do with the panel that holds the switches for the lights, bilge pumps, etc? Trying to get some ides for a winter project.
Dan |
looks awesome buddy.
I am thinking the exact same kind of backseat for when I redo mine in the winter |

Dan I made a new switchpanel with the same look as the old one but with a few more switches for hatch lift, fuel pump, drive oil pump and a safety bypass switch (that bypasses a low oil pressure relay that kills the engine at low oil pres). In black anodized aluminum that I'm laser engraving this week. The ignition key is beeing replaced by a ignition panel with a switch and a start button. Both panels will be placed next to the steering wheel. |

What are you using for bases for the front seats? Since I cant bolt them to the floor, since it's only about 3/8" thick and divinycell, the bases need to be self supporting so that's why both are connected with the lower frame and the foot rests. The side supports will be made in 1/3" aluminum and the lower and upper frames in 1/4" aluminum. |
man, Tomas that looks cool.
arn't you over 800hp? What kind of boost are you running? XR drive with 30 prop? I know it off topic, sorry |

I know it off topic, sorry I have removed the 375lbs of lead plates from the bow and rearranged the weight distribution so we'll se how it runs now... I have a tiny hook the last 2 inches of the bottom that I will take care of and one on the outer chine on the port side since the stringer cracked. A bit more work to get that perfect but still no biggie :) It shouldn't have any effect on top speed anyhow. |
The interior looks fantastic !!!!!! What does something like that cost ?
|
Yea I'm thinking I could use that also. I would guess 1250 per seat? am I close?

Anyone know of any shipping agent in Ft. Lauderdale that can ship this in the close future?! In the meantime I have been building the base for the rear seats and a lot of other minor things. Since the inner transom plate was cracked I have a new IMCO plate on it's way from Mr Gadgets. |
Tomas, was the transom plate causing you any problems w/ the coupler?

The interior is finally on its way over the Atlantic! Should arrive aug 18th!
The base for the back seat is ready for mounting, just the final adjustment of the height when I get the back seat then the base will be glassed into place! It will have two hatches and an air vent in the front and integrated boxes for the speakers. The inside will get a second layer of black gelcoat when it's glassed in place and I will put black mat on the outside (the same kind of mat that the sides of the cockpit is covered with now). The base for the front seats will be ordered when I have decided on the height, the guy that will make it needs about a week to finish it! |
FINALLY!!!:evilb:
The interior arrived last night, will start the mockup later today! |

Now we're getting there, test mounted the interior last night and got the final dimensions for the bases.
It fits perfectly!!!:evilb: I thought you guys at PPI would make it more on the safe side but this is amazing! I will adjust the drawings for the front base today and send it to the guy that will be making it for me. He will probably be done within a week or so! The rear base will be adjusted today and glassed in place. When that's done I will start mounting the steering wheel and all the switch panels. |

Here's a couple with my friend showing some proportions of the interior.
And one of the mockup plate for the foot rests and foot throttle base. The foot rests need to be this high since the floor is lowered about 4 inches. |
That's some SERIOUS seating Tomas! the side support in the back seat is awesome ......:party-smiley-004:
