The boat is at Jaws Marine to have the engines gone over. It was done on Saturday and I didn't hear anything from them. So, hopefully, no news is good news.

Need to do some trailer work too. Replaced one rear light and fixed one of the wheel wells. Now, I need to do some bunk work. Anyone know where I can get the bunk hardware and stainless staples? South Florida Trailer's website didn't have what I needed. Also, what's a good way to adjust the bunks to the hull?

Bill,
Check with Dave's boat trailers, on Crain Hwy.

They should have everything you need.

Joe

Boat's looking good! I always got a kick out of the P3 class race numbers on that boat! :D

I want to take those race numbers off, but my wife says it looks cool.

I bought all the bunk hardware and 2X6 lumber for the bunks. Now, I just need the carpet. I have a question though. Should the guide bunks be taking any of the boat weight? I wouldn't think so, but right now they are and they are being rubbed pretty good. You can see that in the pics above.

Can anyone with a 24 hull take a picture of their transom while it's on the trailer? I want to see where the boat is sitting.

I'll get ya a pic of mine tonight, but its a different bunk setup, I have Aluminum bunks on my trailer, the transom is even with the end of the bunks, my trailer also dosent have the center guide bunks.

nice ride, must be a fun one to....

Talked to John (pwrbt33 on OSO) the head mechanic at Jaws Marine today. The engines are in good shape. Good leak down tests on engines and lower unit, reeds are good and the starboard power head was replaced (reman.) in 2006. New plugs, gear oil and water separators. I should be good to go.

Thanks rchevelle. I do want to see where on the transom "V" where the alum bunks hit. I have a feeling I'll need to move my main bunks inward.
