T-Mone's new interior

3 Attachment(s)
So T-Mone needs a new interior so I removed all the upholstry today and brought it to PPI in Sarasota. Here are some pictures of what it looked like this morning and I'll post more as soon as it's done. All the grab handles, seat bases, and throttle are getting powder coated blue and the seats are too hard to explain but it will be great when it's done.

Couldn't you at least find those in a nice shade of blue to compliment the wheel. :D
I hope anthony/PPI have something slick up their sleeves.

i think u need to paint those seats or at least change the wheel:hitfan:

Pat McPherson 05-23-2008 02:56 PM

Can't wait to see her back up in these parts with the new seats. PPI does some nice work so I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
It would seem a lot of us are getting a late start to running on the LI Sound.

Pat McPherson 05-30-2008 12:07 PM

Hey Dave,
I'm sure those green things work great if you're just tilting a few. How about some shot of the seat's that will hold the big dogs in when the hammer is down in 4 footers...

SRT10 05-30-2008 01:33 PM

I have been in that boat in 4 footers I hope the new sets have velcro:D:D:D Trevor

Dangerous Dave 05-30-2008 06:29 PM

I dropped the boat off at PPI this morning. Everything in that place is absolutely incredible. I got to see a sample of the material being used. It's a brand new carbon fiber style but the grains are smaller. The seats will be a slightly modified version of the sit downs they use in cats. I promise I'll post pictures the day I pick it up.

Pat, the chairs would be great for tippin a few back but throttling and shifting would be the hard part because the throttle/shifter is out to get powdercoated. Good thing my old ciggie is running good.

Trevor, the new seats a far better than the old ones but I like the idea about the velcro. I had to sit in the back seat with Jo Nunez driving in 4 footers. And believe it or not he's crazier than Anthony...not much but a little.

Hey Anthony,
I'm about a week away from having my boat ready for some test runs.
When are you dragging your baby back home?
By the way, we are planning our trip to Block a little later in the season this year; September 7-8th.

Dangerous Dave 06-25-2008 09:32 PM

we have pictures but they are too big to post. It's getting close and it's gonna be awesome

IRONMAN 06-25-2008 10:29 PM

Hey Pat, best of luck, I am dying to see how much speed you gain with the new boat. Are you running the same drive also??

Thanks!
Yes, I’ m going to run the same engine and the same drive out of my 24' Superboat. Rebuilt 1997 502MagMPI, 2004 Bravo I.
I'm told the 26'/280 Velocity will top out around 70 with this power. Not going to be as fast as the 24 for sure and I'm fine with that.
After last year’s debacle, I'm just happy to get back out there.

Dave & Anthony, any idea when the boat will come back north?

onesickpantera 06-26-2008 06:25 PM

Anthony that is going to look good!

Pat glad to hear you're going to be back on the water.

T-Mone 06-27-2008 06:03 PM

JO - PANTERABOATS 06-28-2008 11:19 AM

If I was to build me a boat, this boat would be me!
Except of course it would be a black hull.
No fancy graphics etc. Strictly business, Most of todays buyers, forget that boats are to have fun w/ ! No need to have an art pc, unless it is sitting in your living room.
Congratulations Mone, (you have my same taste.)
and CONGRATS to Premier on another very fine pc of work!
Later,
pp.

Dangerous Dave 06-28-2008 08:51 PM

Theres no need for a fancy paint job when you have lines like that.

The PPI interior really sets this boat apart.

As does the Atlantic Motorsports motor.

Theres a lot more room in the back seat than the picture shows. It's tight but it's not a SeaRay.

P.S. Sorry but I'm first in line if Ant ever sells this boat.

Stormrider 06-28-2008 09:16 PM

Chris, how do you bolt the seats to the deck?

J-Bonz 06-29-2008 03:03 PM

Boat looks great!!!! I love the all white interior

we used the original mounting hole. but moved from a small #12 phil oval to a 5/16 ss lag filling every hole with 5200. frame has 6, 1/4-20ss bolts going in to a 3/4" kbs with ss t-nuts. and the seat is bolted down using monster 1/2-13 bolts with 2" washers

Pat McPherson 06-30-2008 12:26 PM

The boat looks awesome!
